What We Learned While Looking for Outdoor Motion Sensor Lights
In this piece, I'll share some of the unexpected things we found on our quest to get motion sensor outdoor lights. This article will provide you with a general idea of what kinds of outdoor lighting are available for both safety and aesthetic reasons.
A few months ago, we decided to upgrade our new house by putting up outside lights. After learning about the great energy savings offered by motion sensor outdoor lights, we set out to get some for ourselves. We were unaware of the development of security technologies and hence imagined dull silver floodlights with enormous bulbs. As a result, we were astonished to see such a wide selection of motion sensor devices in the lighting area of a major home improvement retailer. A competent and courteous sales clerk saved us from leaving the shop empty-handed since the selection was so overwhelming.
As a first step, we learned that there are two distinct types of outdoor led flood lights for sale in Lahore: those designed for general yard lighting, and those put specifically for security. The great diversity of motion sensor fixture styles was seen in pathways, porches, decks, and gardens. Many of them were wrought iron or wood framed with brass or pewter finishes. Beautiful carriage-style versions, wall sconces, and post lights that stood on their own were all available. We bought a pair of these vintage lamp lighters. We also purchased several spotlights to brighten our home's entrances, and the stairs leading up to our deck, and to draw attention to our garden's fountain and gorgeous blooming tree. A wireless remote motion detector was one of the coolest tools we uncovered. This is what we put up at the beginning of our driveway. The remote sensor now turns on every outside light and pathway light as soon as our vehicle enters the driveway.
The security lights weren't quite as beautiful as the others, but I was impressed by how eco-friendly some of the most powerful floodlights in Pakistan were. This was particularly true of the LED varieties. LEDs were chosen for both the garden lighting and the security floodlights that we installed. We installed solar floodlights in the parts of our yard that didn't have easy access to an electrical outlet. Solar units are equally effective as our electric ones, plus they're much easier to relocate. When we wanted to have barbecues or spend time in the garden at night, we found that all of the lights had a manual switch, so we could bypass the sensor and keep the illumination on all the time. Ingenious as it may seem, motion-activated outdoor lighting helps you save money on your utility bills without sacrificing convenience.
